The White Rock

White Rock Signs – White Rock is one of the most beautiful and sunny places in the British Columbia Lower Mainland. It sits on stunning Semiahmoo Bay and boasts gorgeous beaches such as Crescent Beach. These beaches make a spectacular spot for leisure time. People from all over the Greater Vancouver Regional District flock to White Rock in the summer to enjoy its breathtaking waterfront views. The promenade is an attraction, as people stroll along the beachfront and shop, eat and relax.

White Rock has a rich native history. The town is home to the Semiahmoo Indian Reserve. It is also named for a large white rock that rests on the beach. This rock is associated with a Salish legend that says that a young chief threw the rock across the Georgia Strait. Originally the rock was white from seagull waste, but through the last few decades, has been kept white with frequent paint applications.

White Rock is dotted with small boutique stores, bed and breakfasts and one-of-a-kind dining establishments. Some of its houses are among the most luxurious in all of Greater Vancouver, sitting right on the bay.

The City is bordered by South Surrey and is a very suburban area with small pockets of commercial zoning. This means that our work in White Rock is often done for small to midsized businesses and fits in nicely with its beautiful surroundings.

White Rock has a large tourism industry so we are able to do a lot of exciting White Rock signs for the travel business and to help beautify the City. The hospitality industry also thrives here and some of our work takes us out to restaurants and diners, creating even more White Rock signs.
